Health insurance enrollment period continues

For those of you in the individual healthcare market (either on the marketplace or not), open enrollment continues through February 15. For an application submitted by January 15, the effective date would be February 1. This also applies if you do not have coverage now, but want to get a policy. You can go to my website to enroll on the healthcare page, or if you want to see if you qualify for a subsidy, go to healthcare.gov for more information and to enroll.

Open enrollment closes on February 15, so you will need to make your choice and get the app in by 11:59 pm on that day, or you won't get new coverage. Anyone who has certain defined "life-change events" (marriage, divorce, loss of coverage due to change of jobs, birth/adoption of child, etc) can submit for coverage based on that event, even after February 15.
