Texas Independence Day
Today marks the day in 1836 when Mexican Texas broke away from Mexico, and became a separate country, yes, that's COUNTRY. The Republic of Texas. This marks one of the six flags that Texas has flown over itself. By the way, Texas Independence Day is an official holiday, so celebrate it accordingly...
