Independence Day 2013

Happy Independence Day everyone! Our office is closed for the long holiday weekend. We will reopen on Monday July 8 at 8:30 am. If you have an emergency, call the office number, or email us through the website.

 What a great country we live in, no matter our challenges. There are still people who come here looking for a brighter future. The Founding Fathers set it up that way, and it is our job to keep it for those who risk life and limb to get here. Fireworks for everybody!!!

Obama Administration delays employer mandate

Late Tuesday the Obama Administration announced it is delaying the implementation of the employer mandate feature of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). We are still digesting what all this means, and there are evidently other changes coming as part of this decision. HOwever, this means that enforcement and penalties for non-compliance will not come about until 2015. This gives businesses more time to figure out what the impact will be on their activities, and how to fulfill the requirements of the law.
