A Season of Holidays

This time of year is very full. The only thing there doesn't seem to be alot of is time! At my house, we celebrate Christmas because we believe in the birth of Jesus Christ. Others celebrate Channuka, Ramadan, etc. Regardless of what you are celebrating, there is a different feeling. Different behaviors. Different activities. My sense is that it is  because these holidays are based on our faith, not a party. So, I try to remind myself to catch my breath, think of others, do good, remember the reason for the season, and just be merry. Sometimes that is harder to do than I would like. In order for the world we live in, whether we mean the whole globe, or just our circle of influence, to be better, it starts with me.
